Completely for free, I redesigned a party flyer a colleague slipped me. The fact that my picture’s in the middle now is a small price to pay for a better lay-out.
I got a new mobile. For free. In Belgium there’s a law against selling a product for less that the production cost, so that actually means something.
My old one just died out of the blue, after 6 months. They couldn’t fix it, so Sony got me a new one, better model. Woohoo! Bring on the mini-pictures on screen and MMS services! I miss the days when phones were about talking.
I woke up this morning, yawned and turned on the lights, my eyes not even fully opened. That might have saved them, as a light bulb exploded. Adrenaline-rush at seven in the morning. I was awake after that though.
Damn’ you Apple programmers. I ORDER you to implement those dull old progress bars in the system again. I catch myself staring at these new mysterious waving hypnotising bars too often lately.
If only software firm Macromedia, home to such widespread titles as Flash and Dreamweaver, could be convinced to spend a little more time making their applications bug-free and a little less time creating WOW-stories on their website…
