Holy Mary, I’m three weeks late updating this diary. That’s about the average time I’m late returning DVD’s. This one is to blame on my hoster and his terrible communication switching to new servers, combined with the stuff-yourself-sessions that mark the end of the year.
So what’s new? I’m slowly finding a way not to fall into a coma every evening. Yup, work and the commute are a bitch. A car would be a terrible solution, as some of my colleagues spend just as much time behind the wheel. So I created a folder on my hard disk called “The Fridge”, in which all frozen projects. Damn’, it sounds depressing reading my own words. “Must… find… balance… soon…”, whispered Superman, his fingers crawling for the necklace made of Kryptonite and the fact that his hobby and his passion were the same. “At least it pays good and I got a laptop”, Superman thought.

I swear I didn’t buy a second gameboy game. Hey, in math that would be game*(boy 1). Whatever. They handed it to me in the street, swear to Steve. The games Nintendo makes itself happen to be slightly better looking than the competition. The old monkey on the right is indeed the one throwing barrels ages ago in those little flip-flop games that cost a fortune and two ribs. Nice touch.

Here’s not to you, delicious Freedom Of Thought. Nor am I addressing your sweet sister Freedom Of Speech. This goes out to you, Hypocrisy. You, who thinks one way and speaks another. Speaks one way and deliberately acts another. What’s with you? Think and speak all you wish, for these are the minds children. But act accordingly, or one might deprive you of the freedom you cannot handle.

At times I’m confronted the hard way with the fact that Apple’s not infallable. A full-blown zealot, I drewl over every new product they crank out, software and hardware full integrated. Apart from today’s iTunes program eating my MP3′s, that is. I’d been suspicious for a while, as many songs were lost. I thought it was me, having copied not all after the last new hard disk. But more and more disappeared daily, so I had to delete the library and start a new one. Perhaps this is not bad, it keeps me from spending too much time at my Steve shrine.

I’d been in concert and eventroom De Vooruit before, but never this deep. There were a couple of concerts friday, and installations scattered around this huge complex, in area’s where the public isn’t normally allowed. The greatsest of all was in the attic. From the wooden (dakgebinte) hung about 400 red threads, holding as much plastic bags. Bright lights lit them from below, which rendered the huge empty room full, yet fragile. The attic was full of it and yet it was not, as all the bags did was embrace the air already there.

I’m unsure if I can resist creating a Christmas Card this year. Why risk the wrath of the gods by breaking the habit? And this years concept is just TOO good.
