‘t was laat gisteren, maar toen Sven me uitdaagde een mail te schrijven naar Apple, draaide ik iTunes lekker open en klikte REPLY. Z’n MacBookPro had net buiten de garantie een doorgebrand moederbord en grafische kaart. Het vervangtoestel dat hij kocht had exact hetzelfde na een maand. Die reparatie duurde haast een maand, zodat hij een Mac Mini moest leasen om te kunnen blijven werken. Apple vroeg z’n mening over de herstelling van z’n MacBookPro.

Dear Apple,

At least I can still call Dell “my bitch”, because Dell means “bitch” in Dutch, but that’s besides the point.

I don’t give a rats ass about how you carve laptop bodies, as long as the machine itsels functions and continues to do so for at least 3 years.

I don’t and never have played tennis with my MacBookPro’s, so I assume them to last longer than a month. That’s right: 30 days. What are these motherboards made of? Cardboard?

Give me a second to catch my breath: I just got back from Thailand and started a new job last week which included a new laptop. A.k.a: moving my digital life from a zillion backups, re-installing those thousands of little apps I use every day. I just finished sorting and tweaking my holiday pictures and decided that this one is my favorite. Check out the set and lemme know what you think!
